Chef Stephanie Perry is a food fanatic that cooks with her heart & soul. Her love of cooking began at the age of 8 when she attempted to make doughnuts for her mother on Mother’s Day. As her love for cooking grew she started helping her aunt with her catering business. She became one of the early mentors of Stephanie’s career. Stephanie’s father, a self-proclaimed Pitmaster, taught Stephanie the art of grilling at an early age. She became a master at the art of grilling. She was a quick study in the kitchen and her confidence and skill set grew at a fast pace. After college her desire to own her own catering company continued to grow so she enrolled in the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco where she became certified in Cooking and Business for Caterers.
Stephanie went on to own a BBQ Restaurant in San Leandro, California. Perry’s Food for the Soul, was a launching pad for Perry’s Catering. Serving up mouthwatering BBQ, Soul Food, and Creole and Cajun Cuisine to customers from all over the San Francisco Bay Area. The restaurant was awarded best ribs and best candied yams in 2005. Stephanie has the uncanny ability to master any dish with ease. Her flavor profiles have a depth that makes you love her food. With roots in the south she seamlessly fuses Cajun, Creole, Southern, and California Cuisine. She loves creating delicious tasty appetizers and dishes for her clients and their guests.
